The story of Nosy Be Hotel
Dear travelers in search of authenticity,
Allow me to tell you the enchanting story of the Nosy Be Hotel, a establishment carrying the deeply rooted heritage of our family, a story of love and dedication to our beloved Malagasy land.
I am the youngest son of the Ross family, imbued with the soul of this island that has seen me grow up and continues to shape my existence.
The adventure began at the intersection of my mother's roots, between Madagascar, Scotland, China, and Great Britain. After years of exploration around the world, her heart brought her back to the Malagasy land, filled with memories and promises.
In 1989, with the birth of her first son, they settled on this enchanting island, determined to build their destiny there. The Nosy Be Hotel was born from this vision, initially as a humble lodge with discreet charm, then growing at the pace of these aspirations.
From twelve modest rooms when it opened in 1993, our establishment has evolved into an exceptional destination, cradled by the crystal-clear waters of Nosy Be, now boasting over 50 rooms.
Our love for this island is expressed in every corner of our oasis: a lush garden where baobabs and exotic scents mingle, an immaculate beach where the golden sand stretches as far as the eye can see, a sparkling pool where time seems to stand still.
Over the years, we have cultivated values of commitment and sharing. The Nosy Be Hotel has engaged with local communities, supporting schools, hospitals, and development initiatives. Our team, mainly made up of Malagasy talents, embodies this attachment to our land and its people. Today, I continue this heritage, shaped in one of the best international hotel schools.
With my mother, we are shaping the future of the Nosy Be Hotel, combining tradition and modernity, excellence, and kindness.
Whether you are looking for rest, discoveries, or wonder, the Nosy Be Hotel opens its doors to you, inviting you to share the story of a family and an island, united by the same desire for sharing and beauty.
Looking forward to welcoming you to our haven of peace.
Scott Ross, Director of the Nosy Be Hotel
